A 38-year-old woman, G3P2 (2002), at 32 weeks AOG, complained of minimal vaginal bleeding. She had 2 previous LTCS, the first was due to placenta previa. Her blood pressure was 110/70, pulse rate was 76/min, respiratory rate was 18/min. No uterine contractions were noted. Fundal height was 32 cm and fetal heart rate was 138/min. The baby’s position was LM3 cephalic. An ultrasound was done and showed that the placenta is grade II, posteriorly implanted, with the edge covering part of the internal os. What type of placenta previa is this?
