A 20-year-old female consults due to tea-colored urine and bipedal edema. She had a recent fever and sore throat. Her BP is 150/90, and serum creatinine is 1 mg/dL. C3 level is 130 mg/dL (NV = 83-177 mg/dL). What feature would suggest IgA nephropathy over acute post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis?
