A 27-year-old G3P2, who is on her 36th week of gestation and has a history of chronic hypertension, experienced severe abdominal pains for several hours accompanied by vaginal bleeding. Her vital signs are as follows: BP = 140/90, PR = 108 bpm, RR = 22/min, and T = 37.2 C. Upon examination, her abdomen is tender and her cervix is dilated to 3cm, with bulging membranes.
